How can I turn them off?

All browsers allow you to turn off cookies if you wish. This may make certain features stop working on websites you visit, and it may make browsing less smooth in general. For example, if you turn off cookies and visit, the online shop will not work, and lists of works in the Artist Rooms section may take longer to load as we cannot remember your display preferences.

You will have to look at the settings for your specific browser in order to control how it handles cookies.
